I generally offer virtual tutoring sessions on zoom, with the exception of piano lessons and other special situations.
I take a very interactive approach and walk students through step-by-step whiteboard-style on Microsoft OneNote.
This strategy keeps students very engaged in their work, helps me to understand where they need the most support, and allows me to demonstrate examples as if we were right there in person.
